A Yemeni coffee chain with locations across the U.S. and Canada is headed to Dublin this fall, marking its first central Ohio outpost.
Jabal Coffee House lists a Dublin, Ohio location as "Coming Fall 2026" on its website, though the chain has not announced a street address or specific opening date. A second central Ohio location is planned for Clintonville at 2761 N. High St., where signage is already up and the shop is hiring, reporter Ashley Kimmel reported for Columbus Underground on Aug. 12.
The Dublin and Clintonville shops will be part of a broader Ohio push. Jabal also plans fall 2026 openings in Toledo and North Olmsted.
What Jabal brings
The chain currently operates four locations: Dearborn and Ann Arbor in Michigan, Orlando and Mississauga, Ontario. Its name means "mountain" in Arabic, referencing Yemen's high-altitude coffee farms.
The menu leans on specialty espresso drinks, teas and pastries. Best sellers include the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, Iced Latte, Adeni Tea and Ice Matcha Latte, along with refreshers like Strawberry Acai and Mango Dragonfruit. Pastry options include the chain's Viral Fruit Cake, Tiramisu, Milk Cake and Bee Bites.
Eater Detroit, in a guide to Arab American coffee shops in Dearborn, highlighted the flagship's design: traditional Arab seating, family-friendly lounge areas and private soundproof rooms that guests can reserve through the chain's app. The app also supports pre-ordering.
What's ahead
Jabal Coffee House describes its coffee as organic and single-origin, with flavor notes of dried fruit, warm spices and chocolate. The chain has about 53,200 Instagram followers and is planning additional fall 2026 openings in cities including Tampa, Lower Manhattan, Philadelphia and New Haven, with spring 2027 locations in Long Island and Houston.
No Dublin-specific contact or local operator has been identified. The Dublin Ledger will follow up when the address and opening date are announced.
