The 90-employee Dublin office of Gordon Flesch Company will join the family-owned firm's 70th anniversary celebration the week of Aug. 17, marking nearly three decades of the office technology provider's presence at 5655 Venture Drive.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce announced the milestone Monday. Gordon Flesch Company, headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, operates 29 offices across six states with more than 640 employees total. The Dublin branch opened in 1998 and has grown into one of the company's key Ohio locations.
"From the very beginning, our grandfather believed that technology mattered, but relationships mattered more," President and CEO Patrick Flesch said in the announcement. "That belief shaped who we are as a company and it continues to guide our decisions 70 years later."
Patrick Flesch and COO Mark Flesch, both third-generation family members, now lead the company their grandfather founded in 1956. Gordon Flesch started the business after leaving a typewriter company, selling the Thermo-Fax copier, which the company describes as the first dry copier on the market. He started alone, serving as both sole salesperson and sole repair technician.
The company has evolved well beyond copiers. Its service portfolio now includes managed print services, managed voice services and managed IT services delivered through its Elevity division, which offers cloud and cybersecurity support. GFC formed Elevity in 2020 after acquiring Madison-based Information Technology Professionals and merging it with its existing consulting group.
GFC holds the distinction of being the No. 1 independent Canon dealer in the United States, a title it has held for 11 consecutive years. It is also the top independent Lexmark dealer nationally.
The local office's leadership team includes Mykah Rose, senior director of sales and operations, along with sales managers Eric Kornell and Jeff Shaheen, according to the company's Columbus location page.
The anniversary celebration runs Aug. 17–23 across all 29 branch locations. The company said weeklong events and photo memories will be shared with staff, though no public-facing events have been announced. Dublin-area businesses can reach the local office at 614-789-5700.
