Dublin Building Systems is one of three construction companies allegedly targeted by a man now facing six felony charges in Union County.

A Union County grand jury on Sept. 25 indicted Ronald Jason Lester, 47, on three counts of theft and three counts of breaking and entering, all fifth-degree felonies, Marysville Matters first reported on Monday, Sept. 28.

The charges stem from alleged thefts between May 1 and May 4 at Dublin Building Systems, KLC Landscape Construction and Gray Construction. Prosecutors allege Lester took power tools and other construction-related items valued between $1,000 and $7,500 from each company.

Court records list Lester as being held at Louisville Metro Corrections in Kentucky.

Dublin Building Systems is headquartered at 5600 Blazer Parkway in Dublin. The locations of KLC Landscape Construction and Gray Construction have not been confirmed in connection with the case, and the indictment does not specify whether the alleged thefts occurred at company offices, job sites or other locations.

The Union County grand jury's involvement indicates the case falls under that county's jurisdiction. No investigating law enforcement agency has been publicly identified.

Each fifth-degree felony count carries a potential sentence of six to 12 months in prison and a fine up to $2,500.

An indictment is a formal accusation that allows a criminal case to proceed. It is not a finding of guilt. No response from Lester or an attorney representing him appears in public records.

No arraignment date or next court appearance has been publicly announced. The case is being handled by the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
