Dublin's communications team earned three national awards from the 2026 City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) Savvy Awards, presented at the organization's annual conference in Denver.

The city's entries were chosen from more than 1,249 submissions by 317 jurisdictions across the United States and Canada, according to a city press release published Sept. 11. Finalists represented 37 states and Canada.

A Savvy Award went to the monthly City Manager Report. The digital publication gives Dublin City Council members and residents updates on key projects and operations. It uses photography, video and interactive elements.

A Silver Circle award recognized the 2025 Dublin Irish Festival Annual Report. The city redesigned the report as an interactive digital publication covering attendance, sponsorship, volunteer participation and economic data. It attracted 325 unique readers and 416 sessions, with half of readers accessing it on a mobile device.

The third honor, an Award of Excellence, went to the 2025 Good Neighbor Week social media campaign. The city developed the campaign with the Dublin Wellness Alliance around research showing that knowing just six neighbors can reduce feelings of loneliness.

The campaign generated more than 44,000 organic impressions, 779 engagements and 291 link clicks. During Good Neighbor Week, residents documented 100 acts of kindness, submitted 35 Good Neighbor nominations and donated 116 personal care items to the Dublin Food Pantry and One Dublin.

Aisling Babbitt, the city's deputy director of communications and marketing, said in the press release that the team's goal across all three projects was purposeful communication. "Whether we are encouraging neighbors to connect, demonstrating the impact of a major community event or helping residents understand the work happening across their City government, our goal is the same …" she said.

The city did not specify when the awards were presented at the Denver conference or name other winning jurisdictions.
