The Union County Sheriff's Office is searching for a Dublin man wanted on vehicular manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges after a May crash that killed a motorcyclist.

Diego Andres Parra Vega, 24, allegedly ran a stop sign while driving a Toyota Corolla south on Winnemac Road in Jackson Township on May 23. He struck a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle at State Route 739, according to a Marysville Matters report. The crash killed 27-year-old Logan Knapp of Caledonia and seriously injured his 30-year-old passenger, Chelsey Kearns of Marion.

Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle. Knapp was killed in the crash. Kearns was taken to OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus with suspected serious injuries.

His Corolla went down an embankment after the collision, struck a rock and tree, and became submerged in water.

Parra Vega's last known residency was on Sawmill Road in Dublin. Union County Sheriff's Office Lt. Joshua Kent told WSYX/ABC 6 in a report published Thursday, Sept. 10, that the apartment appeared vacant. No one appeared to be living there, Kent said.

Kent said the arrest warrant has been entered into a national law enforcement database. Any law enforcement agency that encounters Parra Vega anywhere in the country will be notified of the warrant, he said.

Knapp's family described him as a father of two. His sister, Sheala Edler, told WSYX/ABC 6: "He's getting away with somebody losing their life and that's not fair … Logan can't be living life here anymore."

Kearns, who survived the crash, described her recovery to WSYX/ABC 6. She said she was placed on a ventilator and learned of Knapp's death while writing notes to her family from a hospital bed, according to the station's report.

A roadside memorial now sits at the intersection of Winnemac Road and State Route 739 where the crash occurred.
