Endeavor Brewing & Spirits will shut down its original Grandview-area taproom on Thursday, Oct. 29, ending nearly a decade of business at 909 W. 5th Ave.
The brewery's Linworth location, Barrel & Bloom at 2365 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., will keep operating and continue serving Endeavor beers and spirits. The company announced the closure in an Instagram post on Oct. 22.
"After nearly ten years of proudly serving our community, we are closing our Grandview Taproom … Please come join us for one more pint and show our wonderful bartenders some love," the post read.
The owners did not publicly explain why the taproom is closing.
The announcement follows recent closure announcements from Nocterra, Outerbelt and Hoster, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
Three friends founded Endeavor in 2017. The company expanded into distilling three years later and became what it calls Central Ohio's first "Brewstillery," meaning distilling and aging happened on site, according to 614Now.
The Grandview taproom will still host private events through the holiday season. The owners said they plan a farewell gathering for longtime patrons and partners, though no date has been set.
Barrel & Bloom was open by early September 2025 in the former Random Precision brewery space next to Aardvark Wine & Beer, as Breakfast With Nick reported. The coffeehouse and bar features vaulted ceilings and a garage door that opens to the outdoors.
For Dublin-area residents who want to keep drinking Endeavor's lineup, the Linworth spot is the place. Farewell-event details have not been announced.
