Dublin will paint street light poles along 10 roads Oct. 6–10 as part of protective maintenance.

The paint coating prevents rot and extends the life of the poles, the city said in a public notice, helping avoid costlier replacements down the line. The work runs Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Saturday, Oct. 10.

Here are the 10 corridors scheduled for painting:

  • Discovery Boulevard between Wall Street and Perimeter Drive
  • Wall Street between Discovery Boulevard and Perimeter Drive
  • Post Road heading south to Commerce Parkway
  • Coffman Park Drive between Downpatrick Drive and Emerald Parkway, including the Coffman Park parking lot
  • Emerald Parkway between Coffman Road heading south to US-33
  • Muirfield Drive between Cormorant Drive and Dunabbey Loop
  • Mitchell Dewitt Road between Oak Meadow Drive and Brand Road roundabout
