Three new officers joined the Dublin Police Department on Aug. 13, taking their oaths at a department that has added seven sworn officers in 2026.
Officers Alec Rich, Hayden Hale and Gretchen Wilber were officially sworn in, the Dublin Police announced on X on Friday. The department said each officer brings a unique connection and commitment to the community.
That brings the force to 74 sworn officers.
The trio joins 51 civilian employees across two bureaus — Support Services and Operations — according to the department's hiring page. Their arrival continues a hiring push that saw four other officers, Leah Hargreaves, Michael Holbrook, Caden Copley and Sean McDonough, sworn in during April.
Dublin Police earned national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies in March. The department said at the time the credential reflects the training and teamwork behind every call.
Residents looking to meet the new officers have options. The department's Cool Treats with Dublin Police program sends officers to neighborhood parks on Thursdays with free treats. The summer 2026 initiative posts new locations weekly on the department's social media channels.
Community Liaison Officers are also available by phone, including Officer Scott Brown at 614-796-6069 and Officer Loni Ives-Stone at 614-357-4314.
