Amazon's data center campus on Crosby Court is the subject of a new Dublin zoning application to install cellular antennas on five buildings.

Case 26-060ARTW, filed with the city's Administrative Review Team (ART), seeks approval to co-locate wireless antennas at 6645–6685 Crosby Court to boost interior cellphone reception. The roughly 67-acre site sits about 700 feet south of State Route 161 and is zoned ID-3, Research Assembly District.

The filing does not name Amazon or Amazon Web Services directly. The applicant of record is Shawn Goodier of Atlantic Technology Group. The case is titled "Amazon Cell Booster," and the address matches the known AWS data center campus at 6665–6685 Crosby Court.

That campus has been taking shape since 2014. According to a 2024 city FAQ on the West Innovation District, the site contains five completed data center buildings, with remaining work focused on interior buildout.

The antenna application is an administrative-level review, meaning it goes before city staff rather than the Planning and Zoning Commission. Dublin has approved similar wireless co-location requests on the same track. A Verizon antenna replacement at 5080 Tuttle Crossing Blvd. cleared the ART on Nov. 13, 2025. An AT&T co-location at 6780 Coffman Rd. was approved July 9.

The filing arrives as Dublin manages the broader impact of its data center corridor. Under Ordinance 07-25, the city changed data centers from a permitted use to a conditional use in the ID-2 and ID-3 zoning districts. That change requires new data center proposals to go through the Planning and Zoning Commission for additional public review. The antenna co-location case falls under a separate wireless communications facility track and does not trigger that higher-level review.
