Two Trabue Road bridges near Dublin remain on schedule for completion in October, the Franklin County Engineer's Office said in a project update posted Sept. 8.

The project rehabilitates and widens bridges over the Scioto River and Scioto Pointe Drive, a corridor that connects Dublin to communities along the river. The office, led by Franklin County Engineer Adam W. Fowler, confirmed the October 2026 substantial-completion target in a separate Facebook update.

Crews are replacing both bridge decks with composite reinforced concrete, installing new approach slabs, converting abutments to a semi-integral design and adding parapets. The road itself is being resurfaced across about 0.285 miles.

For Dublin residents who walk or bike along the corridor, the project adds sidewalks and a shared-use path on both bridges.

Complete General Construction is the contractor. The Franklin County Engineer's Office said in a May 8 Instagram post that Phase 2 was underway, with crews pouring the bridge deck over Scioto Pointe Drive and additional work progressing over the Scioto River.

The project first appeared as a 2025 construction item in the office's spring open house presentation, and work has continued into 2026.
