All three Dublin high school football programs sit outside the playoff cutoff in the Ohio High School Athletic Association's (OHSAA) first computer ratings of the 2026 season, released Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Dublin Scioto (1-4) ranks 15th in Division I, Region 2 with a rating of 2.35. Dublin Coffman (1-4) is 16th at 2.1, and Dublin Jerome (1-4) is 17th at 1.85. The region has 20 teams. Only the top 12 qualify for the postseason.

Galloway Westland, the 12th-ranked team and last current qualifier, holds a 3-2 record and a 3.9612 rating, more than 1.6 points above Scioto, the highest-rated Dublin school.

Hilliard Bradley leads Region 2 at 12.15 with a 4-1 record. Perrysburg (5-0, 10.7) and Grove City (4-1, 9.9) round out the top three. The top four seeds at season's end earn a first-round bye.

All three Dublin schools carry identical 1-4 records through five weeks. Jerome beat Coffman 45-28 on Sept. 4 in a Week 3 crosstown matchup, as reported by the Marysville Journal Tribune. Scioto opened its season against Thomas Worthington on Aug. 21 and faced Worthington Kilbourne on Sept. 18 in the "Battle of Hard Road." Coffman opened at Bishop Hartley on Aug. 21 and played at Big Walnut on Aug. 28. Jerome hosted Westerville South on Aug. 21 and Reynoldsburg on Aug. 28.

Five weeks of regular-season play remain before the final ratings are released Oct. 25. The OHSAA will announce playoff qualifiers Oct. 26, with first-round games scheduled for Oct. 30.

The OHSAA's ratings page lists the full Region 2 standings. The tournament entry and withdrawal deadline is Oct. 7. Teams that do not withdraw remain eligible regardless of record, but only the top 12 in each region advance.

Updated ratings will be released each Tuesday through the end of the regular season. State championship games are set for Dec. 3-5 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
